This is very good. The mist rising from the valley, the broken bridge, the ray of light on the base of the tower : a richly intricate landscape, yet firmly avoiding any sense of overblownness. The resting character is a perfect counterbalance to the soaring and decayed architecture, and gives the whole piece an affecting poignancy. A small masterpiece, beautifully constructed.

Randomly found some of your pictures today, and I must say that I ADORE your art. It's mindstrikingly beautiful; to an extent you instantly fall in love with it. You illustrate huge worlds, compared to which mankind is so indefinitely small; worlds of such magnificance, threatening and intimidating in the most beautiful way. Don't even know where to start..
