This took really long time for me. To make it look so nice and cool but I think I reached my success.You all voted (14 people) for Bardock as first to be REMASTERED in my new poll.
Happy that you all choosen my favourite character from DBZ. You're votes, my passion and skill made this look so good.

The scene is from "DBZ : Bardock Special" where Bardock after receiving a strong mouth-beam cannon from Dodoria survived and went to his spaceship to fly directly into Planet Vegeta and stop Freezer. In the moments of pain, tireness and anger he started having new visions of his son (Kakarott). This time it was on Planet Nameck many years in the future.
I personally loved the scene because her we had more father-son moments and short conversation. Bardock had a chance to see adult Goku (Kakarotto) which was really unique !

Haha... nie posiadam żadnego tableta, choć miałem w życiu okazję na kilka minut go przetestować.
Ja od początku do końca używam normalnej myszki do komputera na kabelku. x)

To tym bardziej Cię podziwiam! Tylko że jak myszką coś się robi i starałoby się dokładnie coś narysować to taki najdrobniejszy ruch to ona przecież uznaje jako po prostu kreseczka czyż nie?

Na pewno tabletem rysuje się dużo wygodniej, bo pociągasz po ekranie jak ołówkiem po papierze, ale mnie na razie tego nie potrzeba.
Ja wtedy na komputerze poświęcam więcej pracy, nie ciągnę pełnymi kreskami tylko rysuje szczegóły delikatnymi kreseczkami, by z daleka wszystko wyglądało na pracę bardziej okrągłą.
Jak widać w moich pracach to postacie i elementy, choć nadal bardziej pikselowane i oparte na kreskach są wciąż okrągłe.
Moje początki, jeśli chodzi o sztukę komputerową to były właśnie małe prace pikselowe (coś formatu twojego avatara), gdzie przy którymś projekcie z kolei dodawałem coraz więcej kolorów i warstw, by wszystko wydawało się bogatsze i bardziej realistyczne. Następnie przeszedłem na tzw. "prawdziwe" prace i duże formaty, co widzisz na bazie tego bohatera.

Bardock: "What!? Who's there!? Who's calling me!? I KNOW you're there! COME OUT!"
Goku: "Bardock!"
Bardock: "Huh!?"
Goku: "You know who I am... Don't you, Bardock?"
Bardock: ...
"Y-Yes, you're my son...!"
Goku: "It's not too late, Father...to be different...than him."
That scene was actually completely silent in the Japanese version, other than Bardock simply saying, "Kakarot...!". Anyway, nice job on the drawing.

Thanx ... I thought that it was a great moment in the movie itself and if it is as you say then I'm happy they didn't make a silent scene in the English dubbing --- since the words that Goku has spoken to him were priceless. xD

Bardock... jeden z moich ulubionych Sajan poza Thalesem, Brollim, Goku(ze zwyklego DB) i chyba od niedawna Raditzem
Do samej psotaci niema msie co przyczepic bo bardoz ladnie pokolorwales, ale jedyne minusy w calym obrazku to wg mnie zaniedbane tlo i krew... przy niej mogles sie troche bardziej wysilic

Rozumiem ... niestety na razie nie potrafię jeszcze dobrze wykreować krwi, bo artystycznie rzecz biorąc ja jej "nie czuje". Sam Dragon Ball ograniczał swoje postacie do jednej barwy krwi (bez cieni) ... ja staram się powoli wyjść ponadto. Niewiele miesięcy temu dopiero co opanowałem kolorystykę formy i cieni potu (wody) u postaci. Zrozumienie wyglądu krwi to kwestia czasu, bo to dla mnie taka mieszanka wody z farbą. Dosłownie woda, ale nie do końca. xD

Bardak's amazing, I always loved the character...Nice pic! oh and sorry to say this but I don't really like the blood, it looks sorta flat.

I'm happy that you added a crittic comment form man ... really.
As for the blood colors and style adding ... this is only the 3rd work which includes blood adding. My first idea was to add a diffrent type of red then in Dragon Ball - replacing a one color-type red to two shades (bright and dark). For now I physically fell and know how to make a water design but blood is something else. It's color is like water mixed with paint which I don't exactly know how to make on my works. Of course the process will change as long as I'll be practising from time to time.
Here, in this scene, on this character ... the blood had to be added. The moment when Bardock prepares for his last battle is something cool, beatifull and heroic which many times in history was required to build the drama of a situation/story.
In conclusion ... when I as a artist will "feel" the blond it will be done better or maybe even more cool.
Thank you once more for the critic ... it helps a lot and motivates to try a dicover new methods of design, shading and coloring.

No prob we artist have gotta help ourselves...as for me, well I never even tried making a picture with blood so I still can't tell you what the best tecnique to make blood would be...much less in paint.

You know what's so wierd is that last night I watched the Bardock movie and now today I happen to see this Bardock art piece. They look so identical, exept yours looks a bit better. So I must say that this is very good and an instant fave in my book.

Thanx ... I share the passion to Bardock with you. I wish to see him in SSJ mode ... this would be like the coolest thing ever. Such a situation would greatly beat an option of a Vegeta SSJ3 in DBZ Raging Blast. xD

As for DBGT ... I didn't like it much even though many people call it crap since it ruined mostly the whole DB plot or made it atleast impossibly too short I liked a couple of things.
For instance Pan's look was good but her character sucked, SSJ4 concept, Super 17 and SSJ4 Gogeta. As for the rest ... I hated (the only true negative emotion from me) how they made Goten ! His character dramaticly changed into a borring, useless macho type who trie to date girls. I remember the end of DBZ - he was a little in dates but not obsessed ?! His hair at end of DBZ was great ... and that's how he should stay. Calm, a little flirty but still a focused warrior just like it started when he was a kid.

I just found GT a little more serious, and a lot darker in tone than DB or Z. I also really like the Black Star Dragon Ball Saga, with the seven dragons I thought that was a really cool approach. I own the Entire GT series and love every episode.
And I thought it made a grea conclusion to the series, ans really helped push Goku back into the fore-front of the action as Z kinda built up more of the other characters the only ones who got much attention in GT were Pan, Goku, and Trunks which are three of my favorite characters outside of Tien. That was the only real problem I had with GT was the lack of Tien, also I thought the artwork stepped up quite a bit with GT.
but like I always say I come from "The Island of Unpopular Opinions". Still the DB universe as a whole is by far the most interesting cartoon/anime series of all time.

I agree with the last sentence ... Dragon Ball is something that history will never forget.
Also that's true that it was a bit lack of good characters such as Tenshinhan or Yamcha. I haven't seen the movie but the creators of DBGT re-did the most important episode parts from Dragon Ball (whne Goku was a kid) into one movie. I've see some sample's ... it's look nice from the style point of view. My favourite idea was how they re-made Teen Bulma and Yamcha - their design and skill colors were in my opinnion not just properly but cool aswell. xD

I have the movie you mentioned, and they did an amazing job with better artwork. It's very good and from one DB fan to another I'm telling you it's a must see for and fan. Goku's final battle with General Black from the red-ribbon army is truly an unforgettable film spectacle, the special effects in that scene are some of the best I've seen in any animated film.
