I see the Francis Bacon influence, but i think you definitely have the technical ability he lacked!

I definitely see the bacon influence but I do want to acknowledge that I definitely see something new here. Seems your distortions are more based on flesh while bacons seemed based more strictly on color and paint texture.

I hear the Bacon thing alot. It is true that I am influenced by his work. But also Soutine, VanGogh among many others. Van Gogh is the origin of this path in painting. But if you really look at Bacons work we are different in many ways. I'm interested in a similar "project" to paint the sensations of figure, to capture the force of a body and its feelings. Which is much different from representing its appearance.

In my opinion, this work is as terrifying as many paintings of Bacon (and I admire a lot this painter). I am impressed (even if my English level is too bad so that I develop more).

yes, there is some Bacon influence.

the one in the middle looks lik gordon brown. nd the deep red suggests formality, good choice!
