Description
My first deviation in living memory... As usual, the work's about a web series I write called "Atlantis DSV", this particular work showing a scene just before the events of the first book. This part of the story didn't have a happy ending. The Atlantis (big ship, foreground) and Raptor subfighter (tiny boats) were built in Maya 8.5 by myself, while the seaQuest (not-so-big ship, background) was built by "BSiata" over on SciFimeshes. He cited in his release of the mesh that the model could be modified and used by anyone to their own ends, but I'll still give him credit for the model.
The layers were composited in Adobe Photoshop.

Thats not the seaquest... Thats the Seafire, right? The Seaquest never had frontal Rudders/fin's... Unless thats a shadow?
Great artwork!

Hi.
Thanks for the kind words. seaFire... Nice to see someone else who remembers that great web series, but I assure you - that one is seaQuest in the background. She always had a distinct 'arrowhead' profile that defined pretty much every fan spinoff that followed.
If you are referring to the ship in the foreground though, that's the Atlantis DSV.

Oh xD I just realised that's a part of the arrow head design and not some strange rudder.
I feel stupid now, but thanks for pointing that out to me.
