Pen and ink washes, with a little help from Photoshop (for the grey tones). To me, he is either a vampire or an angel of death--it was one of those drawings that just evolves itself, and I didn't think about it before hand. And you'll have to excuse the ripped title, I finally checked out the band HIM and they are awesome. I can't recommend them enough. Anyway, this is a small picture (8 x 11 inches) so it was hard to get the detail (but I wanted to practice drawing smaller figures). And it didn't scan in so well
But that's okay! Tell me what you think.EDIT: I fixed his freaky alien skull, now it's not so large. I hope it looks better now XD

That is really lovely...I love that she's all in white...the color of purity...but that she is being drawn in despite that by the man all in black...I'm sensing a deeper meaning here

I think if this concept was brought to a larger canvas and watercolored, it would make an outstanding peice out of an already beautiful one. Personally, I envision burgandies and purples... anyways - just a thought.

Ooh, how lovely!! ^^ This looks so Victorian; I can't get enough of it. X3 The style here really makes me think of Edgar Allen Poe's works as well~~ it's Romantic yet it has an element of Victorian Gothic that just resonates elegance and eerie beauty. I really like how you did the hair on the sleeping (is she... sleeping? Or something else? ^-^; ) woman; the way you handle the various waves of the hair is really nicely done! However, I think that the hair on the male seems too big in the back... his skull is massive...
Anyway, I also really like how you drew the darkness of the vampire/angel melting into the background! The contrast that ensues is very effective and so eye-catching~! ^x^

Nice i like the spiral pattern in the border and the folds are perfect as ever...
The anotomy on the death figure looks a bit off though, that could just be cause of the undefined body shape (which is a nice touch by the way) maybe the heads a little small...
