Description
This is my first attempt at a "little world" and i am by no means impressed lol. I just put this up to see if anyone could give me some advice because I think they're really cool but definitely a lot harder than I thought.Related content

This is pretty good for a first try
I've done quite a few of these, so I have some pointers that might help you out. I think the main problem with this is the power lines. It looks like you didn't get the tops of the power lines in the panoramic. The problem with not getting everything at the top of the pan is that things get cut off when you apply the polar coordinates filter to it, the edges don't really look right.
I would have shot more of the sky above the power lines, so you could have had more sky around the very outside of the mini planet Another issue, which is always something that needs thinking about, is the location of the mini planet. You really have to think about the area you're shooting and predict how it will look once you spin it around into a mini planet. I find that areas that have interesting things 360 degrees horizontally work the best, and then it's also interesting if there's some nice vertical things. So it's good that you got those tall trees in, and the power line pole works well, it's just that there isn't much else besides those. It also looks slightly stretched out in the center, and while that's hard to compensate for, you can apply the spherize or pinch filter (in Photoshop) to try to bend it back out so it's not so stretched.
I also see that the edges did that thing where it just stretches the outside pixels out until it fills the edges of the square. Believe me, that's a very annoying thing that happens when you apply the polar coordinates filter I try to fix that by shooting a lot of the sky at the top, then I use the stamp tool to copy other parts of the sky and paste over the lines of sky that the filter does.
Anyway, I don't want to sound like I'm criticizing you here, since you did a pretty damn good job for your first try, but I hope that some of what I said made some sense
