Having been retired and replaced after a 20 year career as a member of the legendary Rockette chorus line and at the start of the Christmas performance season too, she cracked. Unwilling to go on any longer, it would all end with one final graceful leap into the ice waters of the Central Park pond. Except it didn't, or at least not the way she had planned her final Swan song.

Instead she awoke. She was a bit perplexed as one wasn't supposed to wake up, and if they did she was pretty sure they didn't usually have holly leaf style wings. And should they have feathers? Most of the details and sadness from her former life, even her name, were quickly forgotten, She was now Poinsettia or rather Tia. It sounded nicer, as she was soon dancing upon the chill air.
