Full bloom for tulips has not happened yet this year. And the Tulip Festival has been cancelled. Probably daffodils are blooming in the area. Here's a couple of links for you for more info:

Daffs are just now coming into full bloom. Tulips were on track for early April. With (a lot) of luck while the festival may be off, we'll be able to go back and see the fields later in April and catch the tulips at full bloom. Last year they managed to last until May. But there were late.
