Description
So I thought I’d try making a tutorial. I’m not the best person to go to learn PPG style, but a few people asked me so I thought I’d give it a shot. Maybe I’ll make one for using pen tool and coloring later. Also, I’m sorry to those last two people I owe prizes. I haven’t been myself the last few days. I promise I’ll get them done soon and I’m terribly sorry for the wait.

this was awesome, i never knew you had a tutorial until i search ppg tutorial and found yours. lol.
I love your style of face emotions, im shocked people haven't asked you to just draw a different face emotions page thing, that would be awesome. or have you done that already? I really don't know. I'm not requesting you to make it, it was just a suggestion/ idea.
I need to work on proportion mostly and also the different eye angles.
Thanks for the help!

I was wondering, (since your one of the such a superb artist and all) if its true that in order to draw correctly you should always split the heads into parts, sketch lines; etc. I'm a writer, not an artist but I have found doodling in school fun. (I've actually grown to really like drawing!) Any tips for beginners? (If my friend knew I was considering drawing, she would laugh her butt of at me. She has anatomy down perfectly, excellent artist.) Oh yeah, thank you so much for making this tutorial! It really helps; tomorrow I'm going to sit for hours and practice.

I always do. I think it helps a lot with placing the eyes. Aside from that I'd just say practice. Good luck

Thanks, also I have a question on using programs for editing your drawings. (Like photo shop, for instance.) Are they hard to use? Or do you have to pay for them?

JKSketchy In reply to AspiringNovelist98 [2012-02-25 18:19:42 +0000 UTC]
All of the programs I have I had to pay for. They're pretty easy to use after some practice. It takes a little getting used to

Like anything, I guess. I've built websites before (they're nothing to brag about.) I just have found drawings seem to look a lot better when you edit them via computer- much more professional. Do you know if tablets have built in programs? I have a kindle fire, but I don't think I can draw on that.

I'm not sure I've never used a kindle before so I wouldn't know. Sorry.

Oh, it's okay. I've heard of a lot of different kind of tablets so I was just wondering.
