well i suggest that you just start to doodle or sketch. doesnt matter what, but just do something. theres a possibility that youll sketch something nice and would want to digitalise.
if you dont have an idea then idk do sketch requests or like look up drawing prompts and it gives you an idea to what to draw

I feel da same as u tbh....everything in my life has gone to shit and it's affecting my ability to draw and I hate it...I feel so wasted and... disassociated

i feel exactly the same as u dude rippp
i haven't found something that entirely fixed it, but i think the main 2 things for me are;;;
getting invested in some kind of series while you take a break from art, and then making fanart for it as warmup/just for fun??
andd changing your art,, i mainly dislike drawing because of the time it takes me, but i made a style where i both find it fun and can make a bunch of finished art a day like,,, aaaa;;

yeah ive actually started watching movies like the entire john wick series rn and just chillin and meetin new people like zoey and its really nice but, im just scared to take too long of a break from art cause i might just kill all my media entirely. so ill always try posting something just to keep my page active so it dont die, its really sad and i can make drawings just entirely rushed and it might litter my page. and im just always worried about not knowing if what im doing is right. i cant bring myself to take too long of a break from art cause ill feel anxious about it bein hard to revive my page when im ready to post again.

yeah i get that all the time,, it's impossible to ignore too cause if you don't get attention it pretty much beats the purpose of your art eeh,,
i can't tell you to just focus on yourself, but if you do take a break, you could make a bunch of art before that and upload it periodically while you recover right?

i always listen to music when i draw its essential, ,Β Β glad to see a homie doin the same.,Β , , ,Β
alSO IM NOT GOOD WITH ANY PALETTES AND SHIT,, i usually try sketching somehting out and it turns out lookin way off from what i expected and i just get pissed and leave drawing entirely. the problem with that is the fact i wanna keep makin dough off commissions, theyre fun to draw and i possibly get to meet new ppl, but when i dont wanna draw, i cant work to get more exposure, PLUS i aint having fun
