Love this- even the looseness of the painting adds to it, like the subject didn't have the patience to sit for this kind of indulgent arty thing a second longer than was necessary. The eye is definitely the strongest point here- very arresting. My favorite detail is the tiny tattoo; with the scar going through it, it makes me think the ink was done before that particular line was acquired. The skull hair fasteners are downright cute. Great stuff all around!
