Hi Fletch sure you were a devastated as me and many many other Who fans to hear about Nick Courtneys passing - any chance of a Brigadier tribute from yourself ??

It's great
The faces, the metal, the colors - it's marvellous!
By the way - I've watched ROBOT a couple of times and I must say it's one of the best 4th Doctor's adventure.

Thanks for the response - know anything about classic sixties Batman featuring Adam West, Fletch ?

Loved Robot , not ashamed to say it - the robot itself is a masterpiece I remember being really impressed with it when I saw it at the Blackpool who exhibition back in the 70s. I dont think a few over ambitious effects let the show down...Id still watch Robot in preference to anything we've been offered since the show came back.
I suspect this is in part a tribute to Alistair Pearson's vhs cover ??
Great artwork... time for some Hartnell and Troughton though fletch. And did you see my comment about Peter Cushings Who films ?

I agree - I love the whole of Tom's first season.
I think the Alistair Pearson VHS cover for Robot is the best piece of work he ever did to be honest and it was the inspiration to include the cult "Logo". I was told that they only wanted Tom, Nick and the Robot - which made for a boring composition - So hence the "Tribute".
I have only just gotten round to reading the comments and I will be producing four Peter Cushing pics.
two of these will be "what-if" posters for Dr Who and the Cybermen.
It is a big screen version of Tenth Planet with Adam Faith as Ben and Twiggy as Polly. The other is The Chase and I will have Phil Silvers as the American tourist from the Empire state scene, but given the "comedy relief" companion role.
I decided on Phil Silvers after recently watching him on a carry-on movie.
It will be a long time in the making, but I Will get there soon.

Thank you.
I like this episode if only for Tom's tour de force first outing.

I like Robot -it may have bad effects, but at least they tried.
Just a shame they died on their asses.

I remember it well.
It was the biggest "Action-Man" massacre ever filmed.
