Practice makes..... better than before

I draw every day, never had formal "comic training", but a lot of college level drawing, etc. I'm actually a little kid art teacher. I think learning to draw realistic helps you be able to draw better at any style. My paintings and wood sculptures are pretty cartoony, but knowing how to render and paint shadows realistically helps them look better.

yeah, i try to practice alot, and right now i'm scowering the internet for guides, vids, tutorials, etc. etc.

draw from life instead of just cartoons or comics-- it will make your cartoons or comics better.

Just keep at it. Draw as often as possible, keep a small sketch book with you so when you have an extra moment, wasting time, you can doodle. I keep sketchbooks in my living room, so even when I'm watching TV or something, I'm kind of doing both.

yeah lately ever since my friends (at least the girls) knew that i could draw they want me to draw them, so i guess thats some practice of real life...

yeah i should get myself a little sketch book...it would make things alot easier to carry around...
