I'm gonna go on a limb here, but I say that after God exiling the first humans for curiosity, instinct, rebellion (emotions he may or may not have invented) for a temptation HE put in place, I'm gonna presume that flaming sword wielded by the angel blocking off the Garden of Eden (should it even exist) is then burnt to the ground accidental or otherwise by that blade.
