March Challenge
This time I more-or-less chose two random DU members and pitted them against one another.
The nice thing about TB is that his weapons can be anything he imagines, so it really leaves a lot of creativity for me. I made some sort of cyber techno sword with an energy blade. Viper was a nice experiment for me because I'd never really drawn a naga before and her pose is a little unusual for me too. All-in-all, a nice experience for me.
I tried to do something a little different with the background this time. Being a little more abstract with watercolor-style coloring. Didn't quite work out, though.

Oh cool! That is awesome, man! I like TB's pose and weapon, and the curve on the background really kind of gives it that surreal look to it. Thanks for using one of my characters for this months DU event!
Looks to be a tough fight for TB, fighting a naga. And I'm sure that something will inevitably explode.

The style of this kind of reminds me of Naruto. Not seen it in years mind you so I have no idea what it's like now, but when I was watching it, it had a real colourful feel to it with some very interesting characters. This image reminds me a little of it, with very colourful and a nice colourful background to set up what will no doubt be a very interesting and cool battle. I like what you've done here

I for one like the background. Adds a kinda surreal feeling to it. It still fits, though. TB looks ready ... or at least as if he thinks he's ready. You can never be sure, when dealing with Viper. Speaking of her, I like your version of her, too. For some reason I find her cute here, can't say why, though. Maybe it's the pointing together with the fact, that we can't see her face, which is probably a mask of rage, as always. I must add, though, you gave her dangerous curves - and I'm not talking about her snake tail

I always try to capture a character's personality whenever I draw them. Viper has a stance of aggression and grace while TB has more a stance of cool confidence.

It's the fake watercolor. I blurred the edges of the colors to make the background softer.
