requested byΒ decader12.deviantart.com/ . part 1/3.this pic pairs spider-man's clone, kaine aka scarlet spider, with fluttershy. i like how this turned out, but i don't think it conveys the romance enough. for kaine, i used peter's hairstyle (in order to relay the similarities of the two) but with a buzzcut look. yet he can't get away from the look no matter how hard he tries. also i gave him bags under his eyes as he would have had a very hard life to live, one only fluttershy could sooth.

Two things: Kaine's dirty blond, and to Fluttershy, is Kaine like an animal? I read in the comics once that he mutated into a BIG Man-Spider Monster.

Cool. Now I like this pairing more than Logan/Fluttershy. In a way it's kinda like a "what if Peter ended up with Fluttershy instead of Twilight" scenario.

Is it just me or does Kaine look... kinda skinny? Then again he's probably a teenager in this so what do I know.

Yeah . First off, his bicep is turned more outward so you don't see the broadside of it. And he is a younger guy, so not a lot of meat on them bones. But the main reason is that I never liked the idea of a bulky spider-man or his clones. I always liked Todd McFarlane's version: thin but muscular. The wiry look. So I was trying to incorporate that aspect into his look and Peter's. But it looks as though I may have to change it a little.
