Description: The Virocides are a group of living virus and Bacterial structures that look like small human beings. Present within each story of the Soul Reaper series, Virocides dwell within the small village of Viral Village in Purgatory. It is here that two or Four may be picked at random to become servants to the one who picks them out. However, if they are shown to be abused or mistreated, the act of abandoning their master/mistress becomes greatly increased, and they search for a new master to care for them. In the events of Jericho's Tragicomedy, Atropos, the Fate of the Future and Death sends her loyal Virocides Ebola and Bubonic Plague out to assist him and his friends. Due to Virocide memories not changing with time travel, Influenza, Smallpox, AIDS and Marburg all see Atropos as their master, and will also follow any task she gives them. The most recent addition to the Virocide group id Dengue and Anthrax, Ouroboros's old servants whom, after escaping the events of Myrrha's Tragedy, decide to abandon Ouroboros when she isn't looking. Causing her to have to find new slaves.
While the Virocides could turn into a more human form and attack the reapers person to person, they no longer choose this method of fighting, and prefer to assist Reapers through "Viral boosters", small abilities that only one Reaper may posses at a given time. The Viral Boosters are as goes:
(BP) Plague's Punishment: Causes all enemy shujin to have their health sucked away; Should the reaper BP is paired with gets harmed, the shujin who attacked them will die within 12 seconds.
(Ebola)Widespread Panic: Sends all enemies into a nervous frenzy, causing their attacks to miss the reapers and sometimes attack one another.
(Influenza) Disco Fever!: Causes all enemies within the Disco Ball's range to become frozen as they dance in place, causing them fatigue and muscle cramps.
(Dengue) Nap Time: Dengue sprinkles sleep dust around the enemies; Causes even the strongest of enemies to fall asleep.
(Small Pox: Game Over: Smallpox hits a question block with 6 different killing methods on it. The number's value determines how much damage they receive.
(AIDS) Absolute Abstinence: AIDS puts a thin coating over the reaper's body, preventing ANY status-like attack from harming them; This includes Petrification, poisoning, sleep, burning or Shock.
(Marburg) Book Worm: Allows a reaper to know how many hits any enemy can take, and their main weakness. After discovering this, Marburg will make a note of it in the Library.
(Anthrax) Copy Cat: Anthrax is too perfect to make her own signature move, so she can copy any Virocide ability whenever she wants.

After joining Jericho and the others later in the story, The new Virocides can also assist in helping Jericho with their own unique devices.
(Y. Fever): Peace in Death: Yellow fever steals enemy energy slowly as his team mates fight, and gives the stolen energy to his allies.
(Amoeba) Pain Absorber: Amoeba creates a giant sponge shield that absorbs all attacks, similar to AIDS.
(Rabies) Bigger Badder Guns: Rabies gives his ally a huge boost in offense but weakens their defense.
(Zika) Wide Spread Overreaction: Causes all the enemies to go into defense mode, making them harder to kill, but they will no longer attempt to attack.
The Virocides are sort of like game items. In a way, Virocides are more like living upgrades in the story for Jericho and his friends. A reaper can carry one Virocide with them at a time.

Trivia:
-The Virocides, while all from Dante's timeline, are aware of their existence in multiple timelines, including Myrrha's.
-Despite the fact they're more like tools than characters, the Virocides play a major role in the story. To what extent I can't say just yet.
-Due to no longer being oppressed by Ouroboros, Dengue is now much more full of life than back in Myrrha's tragedy. While Anthrax was very sinister and playfully evil under Ouroboros's control, She is now much more timid with her personality. However, she has gained a massive ego.
-While not exactly related, most of the Virocides refer to Smallpox and BP as their older brothers, as they are the oldest Virocides.
-Marburg's ability is based on Goombella from Paper Mario, as she acts like the Tattle ability.
-Ebola and Zika's abilities are named the way they are after the scares they caused. Ebola caused wide spread panic to the US a few years ago (despite the fact we weren't really that affected by it too bad). Zika's more recent panic seems to be an overreaction of the public, as we are now considering eliminating the entire mosquito population in order to slay the virus.
-Due to Dengue's gender being unknown, The virocides are split into 3 males, 3 females, and one Dengue.
-Anthrax enjoys messing around with the timid AIDS due to her outfit choice, often asking her to "shake her tail" for her, which AIDS doesn't like too much.
-Bubonic Plague and Ebola are completely original in design, while Marburg is very loosely based on Uranus from Milky way and the Galaxy Girls, AIDS is based off a playboy bunny, Smallpox is based on Brief from Panty and Stocking, Influenza is loosely based on Keroro Gunso's "Afro Gunso", Dengue is based loosely on Kumatora from Mother 3, and Anthrax is based a bit on Kotoko Utsugi from Danganronpa.
