Should've cleared the history on the account, Raven. XDYeah, Titans are back. I'll admit, this version was a stretch for me. But comparing to how they are in the comic currently, and the fact that we all waited 10 yrs. for DC to bring the show back, I'll take it.
Plus, it's pretty damn fun AND funny to see my favorite team of heroes going on the daily semi-normal life. I just don't know why it called for this new "MAD TV chibi style" to make it worth watching. But eitherway, it's a fun show that I'm sure I'll enjoy as much as the original.
BTW, Raven a fan of an MLP parody!! CALLED IT. XP

I soo did this to a Buddy's netflix. Not even because I really wanted to watch it. I mainly wanted to put it into his history. Had an impish moment there.
His reaction upon seeing that I played it and realizing it would go to his history was totally worth it.
And then he watched it with me.

personally, i was waiting for a gif of raven hitting him over the head with a frying pan, or something when he found out. to my disappointment, there is no such gif, but i can still imagine it. and snicker all day long. XD

To be honest, I was hoping for the old Teen Titans to be brought back. I loved that show with all my heart, and to see this is a rather big disappointment. The elements of dark humor within the newΒ show ruin the major plot points of the old show. I honestly don't like it.

Oh, sorry to hear that. Cause I freakin love this new series. Other then the dark humor, it gave a few things the original (which is just as good) failed; bbxrae moments, a terra that wasn't trying to make us feel sorry for, Robin and Raven having a bit more defined personalities then before, etc.

I see where you're coming from. It is really cool how Raven isn't as shallow and hollow as before and Robin isn't the butthurt leader with a strict code, and they were more looser than before. Although, I don't like the show primarily because of Season FiveΒ Β of the original Teen Titans series. It ended in a HUGE cliffhanger, and I waited seven years only to see that Go! was to replace the original series, and the cliffhanger never continued. That was a very huge disappointment for me.

Why yes. That explains in a more rational sense. I mean, I would watch TTG!, although every time I do it saddens me that Warner Bros. didn't go the extra mile to create Season 6, especially because of Season 5's cliffhanger ending.

I wouldn't call season 5's finale a cliffhanger. It's was more like an ambiguous wrap-up. I mean, Terra didn't want to go back, Beast Boy returns to his duties as a titan, and the outcome of the fight with that monster-thing didn't need to be seen; it's not what the episode was about and it's obvious that the Titans win, especially once Beast Boy gets there.
And whatever that wasn't wrapped up in the series was covered in the TV movie and comic adaptation, so I'd say there's not much to be to go on for another season, unless they went with redesigned reboot route, like what Powerpuff Girls are doing now. Till then, I'd say enjoy TTG! with how it is, instead of how it could've been.

It's more that it is a really unsatisfying ending. It just shows the titans coming home and everything's changed, all their favourite places are gone and it feels like it isn't even home anymore. Then there's Beast Boy's true love gone forever. It's just such a downer ending, such a depressing, negative episode. When the episode ends, it just feels like "everything is suck now".
And since this season was basically Beast Boy's Arc, it sucks even more that he just gets punched in the feels super hard at the end.

I see now that there wasn't a cliffhanger after all. Thank you for helping me realize that. At least they still brought back the Teen Titans, but in a more comical way. It was nice having this conversation with a person such as yourself. Again, thank you and your work on Raven is wonderful!
