Ahaha it's funny because...I saw this in a store today (I live in Switzerland) with a friend. And I was like "Hey! The cover looks great...but... I wonder if this drawing skills are... *check the little LITTLE name on the pic* Oh my!! That's her!! I was right!! *A* I want to buy the book, JUST for the cover!!"

This is what got me into reading Runaways. A gorgeous, intriguing cover and a superb first 12-issue run. Someday I'll have to actually read the other runs/issues so I can figure out what that skrull is doing there.

Sorry just came across your comment and thought I'd answer:
The new series is just another sort of chapter, it's Runaways vol. 3 (I think).
The characters are the same, it's a continuation of the same story.
The older volumes are far superior, I would definitely recommend checking it out if you get the chance. ^_^

Well, I've read the older ones, but I saw the newer ones with worse art (in my opinion) so I was just confused about what was going on.
