Thank you. Right now he looks a tad more ragged because I had to cut numerous knots from his fur (it tends to get tangled and he hates brushes, scissors, and other implements which might be used to improve the situation), but in close-ups he still looks very fluffy

Most welcome! Yes, Maine Coons can indeed become very ragged ~ but as you say, the close-up face shots don't show that!

The owner of this house, a very simialar-looking long-hair tabby named Pandora, gives the same look often ! (if you doubt his ownership, just ask him ! : He graciously allows us humans to live here as long as he gets fed & bills are paid )

Well, he's a Maine-Coon and seemingly accepts us as food providers. He's also a walking death trap, considering that he's always in front of one's feet.

A typical cat, I see ! Many years ago, a maine coon adopted me. She ended up being called "Her Majesty" not because of her royal bearing (almost any cat'll have THAT !) or the Beatles song, but because she had a "we are NOT amused" facial expression (ala queen Victoria) when puzzled or disapproving !! Great style cat, those mainecoons, imho !!
