Wahoo! And now, here is one of the most forgotten video game mascots from Namco, hailing from the land of Breezegale, the hero of Phantomile and Lunatea, the dream traveler, Klonoa! Instead of sticking to one of his designs either from Door to Phantomile or Lunatea's Veil, I've decided to combine them both and add a few extra details into his clothing, mostly his gloves.

Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil was one of the most, if not THE most inspirational video game that played a major role in influencing my life's dream of wanting to become a character designer and animator since childhood. I wouldn't be making all these wonderful artworks and anthro designs if it wasn't for this game. I know it may look like some cutesy looking video game meant for kids, but for those like me who grew up playing it, it was so much more on the inside. Aside from the variety of character designs, personalities and storytelling, the Klonoa games break the "cute" stereotype and actually tackles a few deep subjects such as dealing with sorrow, loss and saying goodbye to those who were close to you. It's hard for me to believe that a video game like this, a long forgotten one at that, inspired me to become the artist that I am today. It was one of the best games that I've ever played, yet the series itself didn't stand the test of time for long. I was excited that there was going to be a movie back in 2016 that would be retold based on Door to Phantomile, but there weren't any news for three years until earlier this January when the producers announced that it had been cancelled for an unknown reason. I was saddened by the news, but I just had to move on and forward, looking for new ways of finding inspiration. Nonetheless, Klonoa has left a huge mark on my childhood even though the series may be gone now. I'll never let my dreams remain as dreams. I will continue to pursue my goal of becoming a professional animator and character designer no matter what! Thank you Klonoa! Thank you for all the fun memories!
