I'd love to see her in the My Hero Academia universe. Though I guess Momo and the big-handed girl in the second hero class kind of remind me of her.Β

It's pretty easy to see how easily this series characters can cross over into MHA's universe.
Probably has to do with the similarities between Quirks and semblances

Jo3nn, I think we need to have an intervention. Your best girls dead. And you need to move on. I know it's harsh of me to do. But the truth hurts. And you need to face it. /s

Slavoc, you are either making a joke in poor taste, or this is a serious attempt to slam down someone.Β Either way, you're not being a very good person towards someone who makes good artwork.
Oh, and most of the RWBY fandom needs an intervention.Β This was an objectively poor writing decision, as well as being wholly unnecessary, and you need to face that.Β I know full well that it's harsh of me to do, but the truth hurts.Β Sometimes it has to.Β I also acknowledge that you may not truly understand just WHY it was a poor writing decision.Β Sometimes those who don't want it to be the truth have to be dragged kicking and screaming into the light.
I recommend obtaining knowledge of writing mechanics in fiction, not just a focus on the aesthetic that is allegory, symbolism, and other such subjectivity.Β Ignorance of these concepts is precisely how sub-par content creators are able to fool their audiences into thinking that their work is better than it really is.Β And yes, I fully acknowledge that you yourself might already possess such understanding.Β It just so happens that such ignorance is the most common thing I see in this fanbase in regards to this specific plot event, so it is the first thing I go to.

Stick and stones folks. Seems I've stirred up trouble here so I'm out.

Actually, I was not aware of that.Β I tend to not use shorthand like that.Β That being said, I'll apologize for my tone, but not for my words, I meant every one of them.Β You would not believe how many people have echoed such statements as you wrote and it NOT be a joke or sarcasm.Β Had to deal with more than my fair share of shit in this fandom.

It all depends on if person receiving can take it. Like when Yang's dad joked she must have lost some brain cells with that arm. The joke wasn't for you. So wait for Jo3mm to get offended before you support them.

few of the RWBY fandom are not ignorant unfortunately. I like RWBY but Jesus Christ do I have issues with rwby, it suffers alot of bad writing, including Pyrrha's death and execution of it.
but what really REALLY pissed me off is how the writers guilt trip the audience by saying that "they know they're not good writers but they try anyways" which is bullshit because if they DID actually try things would have been different in a better way.

If you want to blame someone for Pyrrha's death blame Monty he's the who based her on Achilles.

Monty was the director, miles and Kerry are the writers, they write the scenes.

Monty was the creator also and I'm betting that that extended to JNPR also. He had lots of ideas for the show and the direction he wanted to it go and he told everyone and I wouldn't be surprised if Miles and Kerry were digging in that well.

creator yes, writer no, sure he created team JNPR, but miles and Kerry were the ones who wrote them. I don't blame Monty for Pyrrha's death. I blame miles and Kerry for the bad writing, and especially after Shane's letter, I don't really trust them....

Monty created Pyrrha to die, it's that simple. It's Miles and Kerry who made her so damn likable. And you talk about bad writing you keep not capitalizing Miles and capitalizing Kerry. And if you're not going see that I'd advise you get off the subject. The RWBY fandom fights to much as it is. And proof read your stuff before posting. I find I make a lot less mistakes and I need to make a lot less mistakes.

you don't seem to understand at all. yes Monty created Pyrrha to die, but miles and Kerry are the ones who executed the death, unless he was somehow alive during volume 3....
if you think that Pyrrha's death is the only thing then your wrong my friend, yes Monty created the show and the idea but he even LITERALLY stated that he leaves the writing to miles and Kerry, so much so he made them watch anime so they can be capable of writing.
how do I explain this? he created the idea, miles and Kerry executed it, you know like writers do? if you don't understand that, then that's your problem....

saveferris2 In reply to Tondori3456 [2017-08-30 07:59:32 +0000 UTC]
Ok I get what you're saying I thought you were saying Miles and Kerry came up with the idea on there own.
And one more thing how come you put the "M" inΒ Miles in lower case because you're obviously doing it on purpose. I just want to know why.
Oh and if Monty told you he wanted Pyrrha to die. And you admit Monty want her to die. How would you do it better. If you don't an answer that's ok. I'm just asking.

oh yeah I have an auto correct; it puts kerry as "Kerry" and miles as "miles" I get lazy, sorry :/
I don't prefer Pyrrha to die at all but if the execution was good and well written I would have been fine with it. maybe if it wasn't too soon?

saveferris2 In reply to Tondori3456 [2017-08-30 12:10:41 +0000 UTC]
Yeah I would've preferred it if Jaune and Pyrrha were go out at least once. And I'm pretty sure that nobody wanted Pyrrha to die. That's something even you have to admit Miles and Kerry got right because everyone's shit hit the fan when she died. They made such an ultra likeable if she was so hot and sweet with just rite amount of awkward if she wasn't your "best wifu" she was up there.

Tondori3456 In reply to saveferris2 [2017-08-30 12:27:44 +0000 UTC]
I didn't prefer her to die because it was too predictable so by the time it happens I got more disappointed and baffled than anything else. if she didn't get that small development in volume 3 I wouldn't have given a damn, but they gave her potential to be a character of her own (even though I predicted her death I still saw it) and not just a tool for Jaune only to make her a tool for Jaune's character... I really don't see the good behind it honestly...
I will blame Monty as well for making Pyrrha's death absurdly predictable with the Achilles and all.

Monty did tell the people involved about the most important plot points. Lindsey stated that Monty would talk for hours about what he wanted to happen to anyone willing to listen. In the same segment, Burnie tells a story about how Monty was explaining key points of the story to him up to Volume 7, before the show even aired.

I have a hard time believing that they are incompetent.Β All the flaws present in what was nothing more than a crappy ripoff of Goku's Ascension to Super Saiyan.....NOT PRESENT in another similar moment.Β Specifically, Adam maiming Yang to evoke emotion from Blake.Β The characters were used effectively there, with one glaring problem: Adam being taken OOC to spare Yang, when in that situation, Adam would have most definitely killed Yang on that first attack.Β Everything else in that scene was done effectively, so why then are they suddenly deciding to not do their best when it comes to what is supposedly this other character's final moments.Β Heh, never mind the fact that Pyrrha never actually had control of the narrative at any point during her final moments, that was all Cinder and Ruby.

Tondori3456 In reply to AraelIsrafel [2017-08-28 20:22:43 +0000 UTC]
Adam scene was fine aside from sparing yang. but there are alot of things that the writers are incompetent at, cinder saying that the breach was a colossal failure retconing volume 2 finale because coco Meowed down the entire invasion by a swipe of her gun, the fact that cinder's plan could have been stopped if the characters were not stupid, ozpin giving the power that shouldn't be in public to someone who's in public knowledge and a celebrity.
volume 4 we waited 4 years to know what the plot and it's a rip off of the triforce from legend of Zelda. they retconed the 6-8 months because they think being vague will "avoid plot holes" even though you just ask for more.
they do incredible scenes like Roman and neo vs ruby but they don't continue with it. they just leave it at that. they have good potential good writers they just don't use that potential.

I don't think it's a big deal drawing a character he likes, not because the character is dead means he can't draw her.
