Based on this idea I had brewing for a while now I guess |D
"RWBY AU thing where instead of Pyrrha disappearing in the the wind, she was left there incapacitated as Ruby did her silver-eye thing and saved her.Then she’d end up waking up on Patch (because they had no where else to go) with Ruby+ NJR around her-
(*Then it basically splits into either, Pyrrha’s left disabled to some degree becausethearrowhitherspineorsomething,eithertemporarily/permenantly.
(**or/followed with Pyrrha just needs time to recover herself from everything because holy shit was that a thing and then yeah- switches tracks to where RNJR are still off to find Cinder, while Yang and Pyrrha have time to develop and help each otherthroughtheirownmonstersandissues that eventually lead to Yang reaching some conclusion that she needs to find Blake, and Pyrrha tags along to help her and whatnot~)"

I know the reason behind the actual act of it in the show, but for all the crap and social standings Pyrrha has put up with, I believe she should've survived.
I would imagine that the arrow would've severely damaged one of her arms instead, rendering it nearly unusable, and her succumbing to her injuries she gained in battle leaving her comatose for a short time. That way both she and Yang would have sumilar excercises and possible recovery. While Jaune would still have the guilt of Pyrrha getting hurt and could have all too real nightmares of her dying, which he would later overcome.
But that's just me.

That is honestly the dream scenario I wish would have happened in canon instead of the shit we got
The only difference being maybe it hit her spine instead and paralyzing her for a time until she had trained to get back on her feet and back into action

But still....I really wish this hadn't happened. That this had been the original ending.

I find the second option would work well for both Yang and Pyrrha since they both suffured in a similar way so by helping each other this results in both of them becoming better people. Also Yang would have a travel buddy.

To be honest, this should be how it should end. And it could work. Ruby could tough she was dead when she was just unconscious. And that would make that less sad cause at least, we finish with a little happy ending. Sure, Weiss will be take back by her father, Blake run off and Yang still lost her arms but this little moment of joy can prove then there still hope in this world. Also, it could have been interesting to explore the relationship of Jaune and Pyrrha after those event. Of course they would be in couple but I'm sure it could have being interesting to see since it's literally the first real couple will could saw in the show without being a ship.
I know, she left an impact in a lot of hearts of the fan but she did like Aerith did in FFVII. And one day, we will have to learn to moving on from her death (except if the show found something to bring her back)
Also, yes. Perry could have been just rebuild. Or maybe it will take time for that.

You should do it as a fanfiction that would be cool you should put pyrrha and jaune working on there romance and a chapter of jaune staying near her bed never leaving her side please do it as a fan fiction
