Finally finish! Nightmare Rarity is from the comics, but I haven't seen them yet...

The shadow is crisp with out a flaw. The horn to such a point! Simply outstanding to follow the lines with your eyes. Watching where you will end up next. I love how she is portrayed as a dark color and not white like usual. This is such a lovely change to see. I think I like her better in this light then as in white actually. But, then again. I'm always gunna be pro more Nightmarity fanart; the fandom is still depressingly unaware of the IDW MLP FiM comics that are rolling out and often utterly knockdown-amazing.

So the comics are the source of this "Nightmare Rarity" term.
I can se her almost everywhere, but I had no idea where did it come from. (the same I'm actually having with the "Rarity fighting a giant crab" thing, even if it's a little older topic, I still don't know where it began)
well, at least I'm a little bit smarter now

You don't know how "Rarity fighting a giant crab" came to be? Well, allow me to educate you on the matter:
A while ago, a guy in dA who goes by the username commissioned around 10 different artists to make a pic of Rarity fighting a giant crab. Then somehow every single piece made it into EQD Drawfriends. Some other artists liked it, drew their own versions of it and that's how Equestria was made!
