Bio:

When Rome was just 8 years old, he lost his leg to a timber wolf. For two long years, he was stuck in an emotional rut, convinced that he would never be able to run as fast or corral cattle as well as he used to. He fell into depression after a while, and his parents began to fear for him as he began to slowly degenerate and lose his once-constant cheer. But, after playing with some old scrap metal and wood, Rome suddenly realized how he could fix his leg with the metal. It was then that he got his cutiemark.

Since then, he learned how to fine tune his smithing skills, and has even built himself a forge a little ways from the family barn. He's improved on his leg many times, and now has several detachable feet, each with its own purpose. He can even attach a hammer to it (which has also improved his blacksmith skills).

Rome is an optimistic, kind, humorous, and patient young stallion. He's an excellent therapist among his friends (given his own personal experiences), and is always ready to share a wise word or two. He's mildly extroverted, but doesn't feel the need to seek out new friends all the time. He's content with the ones he has but is welcoming to any newcomers.

SECRET:

After a strange surge in crime level in Ponyville and the surrounding towns and cities, Rome, after being constantly disappointed by the lack of response from the towns inhabitants, decided to do something himself. Mirage (Fluttercord kid), who was as angry as he was with the authorities actions, designed magical disguises for them both, allowing them to roam the streets without anypony knowing who they were.

Rome, who has been nicknamed Timber Wolf, loves the vigilante life. He's careful not to go too far out of the law's bounds, but isn't afraid of defending an innocent pony by any means necessary. He and Mirage have become very close (FRIENDS!!) and often stop on some lonely rooftop to talk with each other. They trust each other completely.

His suit is generated from a stone he carries in the leather pouch around his neck. All he needs to do is cue it with the words Ligna Lupis and the suit will form around him in only a couple seconds. The front legs are magical and move like natural ones (the right leg is just to hide the fact that the left is a prosthetic). The thorn-whip-tail-thing can be moved back and forth like any other limb on his body.

Relationships:

Applejack- Rome loves his Mama. The pair of them love bucking apples together, and Rome is very honest and open with her.

Double Diamond- Rome loves his Pa, even if the two aren't quite as close as Rome is with AJ. Rome is always eager to learn his father's snowboarding tricks, which often result is some pretty hilarious crashes.

Siblings- Rome is the best big bro any little siblings could ask for! He loves chasing and roping cattle with Amber Rose, finding rare plants with Pink Lady, and wrestling with Spartan.

Mirage- BEST FRIEND FOREVAH! Mirage is Rome's confidant, pal, and fellow vigilante. They couldn't be closer if they tried

Yes, I did completely copy his normal leg from Hiccup's in HTTYD 2. Sorry, but I just LOVE IT!! Rome was a TON of fun to redesign!!! He's pretty cut for an earth pony, but that's just the Apple in him.
