Funny description. I like the pic becuase of the home on the plains feeling that goes with it especially since you got the picture during what looks like to be sunset.

nice picture. i like the lightning and atmosphere.
just some suggestions : i'd maybe crop cca 2cm from the top (too much empty space) or maybe change angle altogether, i have a feelign that would look more balanced. also a little curves adjustment could help.(either lighten up a little, or increase contrast and decrease saturation a little.)
but in spite of that, it's a good photo.
