Have you always worked with traditional media? Watercolors are amazing to use. I used to prefer colored pencils, but then I realized how amazing markers were and started using it for everything ever since Β

Sadly, it's been over a decade since I've worked with paints of any kind, aside from painting my cosplay props. My main traditional media outlet now is sewing stuff. :3 I still would love to get a really nice set of markers for my designs that I want to do sketches of for my Etsy shop.

Aw it's ok, you can always go back to it whenever you want I saw your cosplay stuff, they're so amazing!
I'd highly recommend getting markers, especially since you want to do sketches of your designs. It'll make your designs look professional and bright!

Aww, thank you for the compliment! Cosplay is definitely a passion of mine, sadly, my depression has greatly reduced my inspiration a few times.. I really should invest in some nice markers for my drawings of things I want to make. Do you have any suggestions for good ones?

Of course! I'm sorry to hear about your depression, I do hope things get better for you If you'd like to invest in good markers, I recommend both Prismacolor and Copic markers. Prismacolor are cheaper than Copic, but Copic markers are refillable so they'll be a better investment for long term. Both Prismacolor and Copic markers have nice brush tips, but for fashion designs I think Prismacolor markers with a broad nib would create a nice, vibrant flow to your cosplay sketch designs

Thanks for the encouragement.
Ooooh, thank you so much for the suggestions! I'll have to save up and invest in those at some point. I really miss the whole sketching/planning out of my costumes.
