Good point. Yeah, coloring this reminded me that, due to my habit (when working on less formal, sketchbooky stuff) of inking directly over my very, very loose roughs, some of the most ambivalent shaped pencil lines may become crystallized in weird ways. Aspects like the one you mention, specially when trying to do something with more purpose than this piece, should be better looked at and solved during the early stages.
