This is the second of a series of five character im designing based on The Hobbit book. Thorin Oakenshield.As i sad before, for this series i used the story as reference, leaving aside any other visual references.

I like this one as well. Although I love Thorin in the films, I appreciate when people just try to referenceΒ his appearence, just based on the book. Excellent job here.

I love it! and your Bilbo! Good job separating your imagination from all the visual reference out there! That's one of the more difficult things for me. I generally have to make several successive thumbnails to get myself away from previously established designs. Got any tips?

Thanks a lot! Your comments are so important and gives me a lot of motivation... I think you are in the right way... you have to practice your imagination try to put your visual ideas into paper. Dont metter how many attempts you need. ;D
