    Thor é o senhor de Asgard a vários anos terrestres, que mal equivalem a um piscar de olhos de um imortal.



    Ainda assim, ao saber da morte de sua amiga e amante eventual, Jane Foster, sob a identidade de Valquíria, ele voltou à Midgard para prestar suas homenagens.



    Assim que soube que ela havia tido um filho, pouco tempo antes de morrer e que, sem ter algum parente para criá-lo, o menino seria encaminhado para um orfanado, o deus do trovão o tomou como seu protegido, levando-o para Asgard.



    Uma vez no reino dos deuses e tendo a lendária Força Odin correndo por suas veias, Thor concedeu força e vitalidade divinas para a criança, que ele batizou como Magni.



    Apesar de basicamente humano, o rapaz cresceu conquistando a simpatia de todos os asgardianos, mesmo os que, inicialmente acharam um absurdo que o futuro príncipe do reino não fosse alguém nativo da cidade dourada.



    Todas as dúvidas acabaram quando, após completar dezoito anos, durante uma invasão de gigantes de gelo, Magni conseguiu, ainda que por poucos instantes, erguer o mítico Mjolnir, para salvar algumas crianças.



    Seus dois braços se quebraram no processo, o que resultou num pedido incomum por parte do rei para os mesmos anões mestres armeiros que criaram o próprio Mjolnir.



    Por isso, quando Tony Stark conseguiu uma audiência com o rei Thor para o Capitão América e a Mulher Aranha, em que eles clamavam para que o deus do trovão os ajudasse na nova formação dos Vingadores, foi Magni quem os acompanhou, agora trajando uma armadura Asgardiana que o ajudaria a controlar o poder do Mjolnir.



    E assim os Vingadores continuavam a crescer.

Thor has been the lord of Asgard for several years on earth, barely equivalent to the blink of an immortal's eyes.

Still, upon learning of the death of his friend and eventual lover, Jane Foster, under the identity of Valkyrie, he returned to Midgard to pay his respects.

As soon as he learned that she had had a child, just before she died and that, without having a relative to raise him, the boy would be taken to an orphanage, the thunder god took him as his protégé, taking him to Asgard .

Once in the realm of the gods and having the legendary Odin Force running through his veins, Thor bestowed divine strength and vitality on the child, whom he named Magni.

Although basically human, the boy grew up winning the sympathy of all Asgardians, even those who initially thought it absurd that the future prince of the kingdom was not someone native to the golden city.

All doubts ended when, after turning eighteen, during an invasion of ice giants, Magni managed, albeit briefly, to raise the mythical Mjolnir, to save some children.

His two arms were broken in the process, which resulted in an unusual request by the king for the same master armor dwarves who created Mjolnir himself.

So when Tony Stark got an audience with King Thor for Captain America and Spider Woman, in which they cried out for the thunder god to help them in the new Avengers formation, it was Magni who accompanied them, now in armor Asgardiana who would help him control Mjolnir's power.

And so the Avengers continued to grow.
