The most interesting thing here is that girl's face is not fully painted. I treat it as a special feature of this painting, to let us know that she is not "the girl of the painting", but just "a girl", some ordinary girl who happened to be there when you "took a photo" of this. It's interesting to know the original idea.
Sakura trees are magical, and the whole atmosphere of the picture is bright despite the rain. It makes me want to walk there, too.

Yes, and I think not only because of sakura, Japanese people have a very special attitude to the nature, and I also dream to visit Japan to see that wonder of civilization that merges with the nature, that became a part of it.
Maybe I'll go there for a vacation the next spring, despite the fact that I don't like traveling alone for so long distances. :/
There exist several places in Europe where you can see sakura, by the way. I remember for sure that there exists a big sakura alley in Stockholm, I did this photo there: zhuravlik26.deviantart.com/art… .
Also, there exist several sakura alleys in German cities, for example, in Bonn and Wuerzburg. And Schwetzingen palace has a big garden where sakura trees are also present. Though, I still didn't visit either of these three places.
And also, cherry blossom trees exist in Paris in Sceaux park.
But yes, I understand that the only place where you can fully feel the atmosphere of that is Japan.

You're right that in Japan the civilisation merges with the nature in a beautiful, affortless way. I also love how the landscape and people change from north to south of the country and how the tradition mixes with new technologies. You're lucky to have such possibility next spring. I wouldn't hesitate.

Traveling alone is actually not that bad. You can learn a lot about yourself. I visited Helsinki alone and despite being shy I had to approach other people. It was a very interesting expearience.

Yes, that's always interesting that the nature gave all its varieties nevertheless for such small island-countries.
Maybe I hesitate by two reasons: I never did such a long journey before, and also it's quite boring being alone in such a beautiful place, because you feel the need to share your emotions, but having no one to share them with is disappointing.
Yes, sakura exists in Europe, I think because it's beautiful and attracts tourists. Maybe some places even would be less visited without all the nice plants that grow there.
If you'll decide to visit one of that German cities, I can make you a company if you wish, I still didn't visit any of them, too, and they are in my list of the cities to visit.

Yes, that's true about traveling alone. Nice that you also had such an experience. Totally agree that traveling alone is very good for getting to know locals and to talk with them. And Helsinki is a very nice city for that, I visited it several times while living in St.Petersburg, and liked it a lot.
Though, I traveled fully alone mostly somewhere where I know the language at least basically, so Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium and France were relatively easy destinations for me (okay, at first I did a map of my routes vk.com/photo8871_387450984 and only then understood that I mostly chose places with known languages). But I still didn't have a big trip to somewhere where I cannot read most signs and cannot understand any voice announcements, so if I go to Japan it would be a totally new experience.

Sakura za mną chodzi od jakiegoś czasu, ale nie wiem jak się do niej zabrać. Boję się żeby nie wyszło kiczowato bo to w końcu różowe kwiatki i jedna z najbardziej romantycznych scenerii jakie istnieją.
