Photoshop...(looks more like feathers to me, but whatever..>> I used the brush tool on 3px to outline basic pointy triangle looking things..(clumps of fur) and then went over a side of each one for it's shading....and then smudged it accordingly...I used three shades for each...

LIAR.... You are no less good than anyone else out there, we all have our own styles and that is what sets us apart, id like to see through tutorial and so on.... on how you make you art, how YOU do what you do.... not how "super awesome picaso davinci people" do it....
