Description
Ah, yes. Everytime Beth and I part ways, I always have to have my hug. <3 And she knows it, too.Ironically, I don't like hugs. XD I usually dread giving people hugs. Shoot, for the longest time, I wouldn't even hug my own grandma. :\ I'm kind of a picky person. I'd only let my family hug me and a few cousins, but not my aunts or uncles, or grandparents, or things like that. Beth is just kind of special, and I've told her this. She knows it.

Yeah, my two best friends in the world are allowed to touch my shoulders. I hug them quite frequently too.
But you know what it's like to have that friend that you can trust with anything.

I really don't know, though. This whole friend thing with unlimited trust is rather new to me. I've never felt so close to someone, besides my family. I really like it, but it's hard for me to balance. I think I'm over doing some of my affection...ha, I keep drawing the characters here..and I'm always talking to her. XD I feel spoiled because I see her like, 4 times a week! I dunno. Perhaps I'm obsessive, but I'm happy, so...that's what counts, right?

PhotographerGirl In reply to Joava [2010-03-26 04:08:20 +0000 UTC]
I know what you mean about the whole trust thing. I've always had problems with trusting people outside my family, and even some of my family members I can't trust.
My best friends actually both moved away last year, although one is moving back. I'll be seeing her on Monday! Yay! But when they were living closer I saw them both about every other day. So yes, I probably was a bit...obsessed.
But I was never happier than when I was with them.

Haha, I'm sure people are tired of hearing about my friends too! I have so many hilareous stories to tell. Half of the stuff I do with them I wouldn't dream of doing with anyone else.
Haha, last summer, after both my friends had moved, they came back to my place for a visit and we walked down to the supermarket and MacDonalds. lol, at the supermarket one of my friends bought a frozen lemonaid thing and she didn't have a spoon. So we went over to MacDonalds and asked for a spoon but we're told we had to buy something first. So I marched up to the counter and said, "I'd like some fries, and can I have a spoon with that since I bought something?" haha, the guy told me no! It wasn't until we were almost back to my house that we realized the guy had put a spoon in with our fries...lol...we laughed so hard.

XD That's soo dumb, why shouldn't they give you a spoon? Haha that it was in your fries, though, lol. :3
I have all kinds of Beth Stories. <3 *grabs journal* let me find one...
Ohh, this one is funny! It's something she told me about. XD She apparently can't look at things like blood and stuff like that or she feels sick. Anyway, she was at the vet to get her cat, Tauba, some shots. She was just standing there holding Tauba on the table and she said she started to feel funny. That's werid, she thought I shouldn't be feeling this way. No! I'm at the vet! I'm fine! Then she said that she just felt really warm and cuddly. Next thing she knew, people were looking down at her and screaming at her. She was like whoa. People were asking her "Are you okay? Can you get up?"
"yah, I'm fine..." she was on the floor!
"Does this happen to you often??"
"Uh, no!" She said she had terrible whiplash after that, though. XD
I felt bad for laughing because if that had happened to me, gosh I'd be sooo embarrassed, but I couldn't help it. XD She told it soo funny!

I know, right? Stupid, but we laughed so hard!
That is hilareous! I for one, don't do so good around blood, so I know exactly how she felt!
I remember another story, last year I got together with Trishelle and Emily and we went for a walk and they both commented about how the street in front of my house had be repaved and I being only slightly blonde, didn't really..let's just say their words didn't quite regester in my mind. And then, about a week later we got together again and went on another walk and as soon as I stepped outside I said, "Hey, I think the road has been repaved." LOL! They looked at me like I had just told them I was alien! And then they broke out laughing...haha, they remind me of that all the time!!!

Joava In reply to PhotographerGirl [2010-03-26 05:50:17 +0000 UTC]
XD oh my gosh, that story just tickled me!! X3 Ha ha.
The thing about Beth is, she really is interested in all that medical stuff, like, she likes to hear about it and it fascinates her, but if she sees it..XD I dunno. lol I don't like it either way, but I don't faint. I just start feeling like whatever disease someone is describing is happening to me. XD *paranoid* That's bad. XD
Oh, here's a funny little story. I was at Beth's house, and since I had just gotten a cold, I kept meaning to leave "I'll leave at 5:30!" Anyway, then they suddenly had company. X3 She introduced me to their other friends who said hello and whatnot. The gal (whose name I'm not sure of) said to me "Did you drive here all by yourself?" (I'm 18..>>) "uhm..yah?" lol I told her to guess my age. "Uhm...14?" lol "Nope, higher.
" Beth was like "She is old enough to drive."
"Cheater."
"Oh, so you're 16?" she asked.
"Still no. " I answered.
When she finally guessed 18, I told her yes and she was like "Oh! I saw your car out there and then I saw you, I started looking for a parent or something!" XD
I love looking young. lol

Oh hahah! That's great! For me it's always been the opposite, people always ask if I'm college. I'm like..."No...I'm 16, thank you." I guess it's because I'm more mature than others.
I don't faint at blood, I just don't like it too much. Like needles...ugh...I have to have my wisdom teeth taken out next year and I am DREADING the IV.
Lol, one day, when I was at the store with my friends, we were getting drinks and Trishelle decided to get a snapple. Well, as we are wandering around, she drops it and it breaks. The look on Emily's face...she was mortified! Trishelle asked what to do and Em said, "Just walk away. Quickly."
I laughed so hard! And to this day Emily will NOT allow Trishelle to buy a snapple, in fact, it was a good few months before she even set foot in that store!

Oh! lol!! XD Ha ha. That's fantastic.
I had one of my wisdom teeth removed. I have it still! The dentist let me keep it! It's all bloody lookin' and kind of chipped from him tearing it out of me, but you know. XD It doesn't even look like a tooth! D: I was like "That's what you pulled out of me?!" I dunno, really. I was kind of loopy. O.< The laughing gas I didn't like. It made me feel really light headed and dizzy. They had to turn it way down because I'm a really small person! D: *weighs under 100 lbs.* The IV was only bad because he poked me twice and it hurt. D: Otherwise, the IV was the best part. The fastest I'd ever gotten to sleep. lol The insta-sleep was easier to take than the dizzy. Dx

I eventually have to get the other 3 out. DX I'm unlucky.
So, here's what happened Yesterday that I got a kick out of. It just made me feel good. Okay, so about a week or two ago, I was at Beth's and I mentioned that my car needed to be washed, like bad. She said she needed to wash hers too. I said to her that whenever she decided to do that, I'd be happy to come over and we could both wash cars. XD She said, "there ya go." like, you know, it'd be fun. Well, she told me on Tuesday that she'd just gone ahead and done it. I was like "Aw, you didn't call me!" D: So, Yesterday, I washed my car while it was sunny out and drove it to church. (of course it rained right after, so pfft, there goes my work.) Anyway, I consistently look for things to talk about to Beth and that happened to be one of them. After Pastor was finished, Beth looked at me (just before I was going to say) "Did you wash your car?" X3 "Oh, Yes! I did! You noticed?"
I guess it needed a bath more than I thought! lol
I dunno, I felt kind of flattered that she noticed. X3 It's like "Oh, did you get a haircut?" you know? Like that. I dunno, I just thought it was so funny taht I was Just about to say "I washed my car today!" XD

I love when my friends notice things that I didn't expect them to notice.
Like one time, after having a lot of bad things happen to me, I went to church and the sermon was just...wow. Exactly what I needed! And I went home and got together with Emily, (we went on a bike ride) and the first thing she said was, "You look happy Becca." I was just like, yeah, I am, and I was stunned that she even cared enough to comment about it!
She's always been the sweetest, like a couple years ago my parents got in a terrible fight and I was afraid they were going to split up and Em comforted me as I bawled my eyes out. And let me tell ya, I don't cry in front of people, but crying in front of her was easy, almost comforting.

You know I love that. Having a friend that no matter what you can confide in them and they just support you. <3 Beth doesn't always do that, like, she doesn't always agree with me, but that's because I over react...
Besides that! I was really distressed last Friday. I'm kind of a wimp because I get so homesick so easy. I can't even go over to a friend's house for more than 2 nights, and that's an improvement! D: Anyway, so my sister and I had plans to go to McMinnville this weekend. We'd leave Friday and come home Monday. That's 4 nights. :\ Well, I had my mind wrapped around that for a while and wasn't so nervous...Until my mom said "Oh, I might not be here when you get home." I didn't understand. "I might go with your dad to California all week." I had instant nerves and started to feel sick. ;^; I tried to call Beth, but she didn't answer, so I talked to God and the shakes went away and I managed to get some sleep. The next day, Friday, I went to Bible Study, and actually got to sit by Beth on the couch, which was a switch up I didn't have to mention, God was just taking care of me. :3 Well, Beth had mentioned before that after Study, she had to go back to work. :\ I was disappointed because I really wanted to talk to her. Well, when she brought us back to the church (we meet at the church and one of us takes the other 2 to the driveway of our host who picks us up there because her driveway is so bad...) anyway, when the other left Beth's car, I lingered and confided in her. She was soo good to just listen and reassure me and I got 2 hugs. Even though she had to go to work, she stayed and let me vent for a good 15 minutes. <3 I felt SO MUCH BETTER after that. In fact, I'm home now, my mom's not here, and I'm really surprised as to how well I'm taking it! I haven't gotten scared or insecure at all! <3 Praise God and Thank God for Beth!

Awww, she sounds so sweet.
I remember one time, Em and I were playing opposite roles...usually she is the one comforting me because I get so worked up about stuff. But this time, we were planning a sleepover and her mom called saying her older sister had gotten in a bad car accident. She still wanted to me come over because she wanted me to help with Em's siblings, since Emily was kind of freaking out. So I went over there and gave her a five minute long hug, she just cried into my shoulder. Poor thing, she was so scared. After we put her siblings to bed, we sat on the couch and watched a movie and she just leaned against me the entire time. It was nice to be the one to comfort her.

I haven't really been able to be there for Beth, but that's probably because she's old enough to be my mom so...I really learn more from her than she could from me. I feel kind of over dependent on her.

Yeah, the youth pastor at my church, nicest, sweetest lady ever, she's like Beth is to you. She's older but always there, ready to let you cry on her shoulder.

Yes. But even so, Beth is a little different. She's not really in any authoritative position like pastor or teacher or anything. She's just my best friend. I couldn't ask for a better one, and why would I? I have my best friend who lives like, a few miles away.
I see her often enough, she's very good about calling back, and she's absolutely HILARIOUS!
She's a total thespian which means that this Easter, we have this little play, when we perform it, ha ha, I'm glad I only have 8 lines because if I played Pastor's Part...XD I'd be laughing too hard. We practice when I go over to her house and we totally funny it up! XD Everytime she puts on the fake crying noises, I start laughing. XDD She's such a sweetheart, but she plays such a good snippy person! X3
