So you are going to update the packs with the Regicide marines?

Awesome! I personally prefer the Regicide marine designs over the ones from Space Marine. Not that the Space Marine ones are bad, that is. Are you able to provide an ETA on the Regicide-Replacement Update?

I'm really curious about what you like the Regicide marines over the Space Marine ones. I do not have a lot of play time with Regicide to really notice many differences between the two.

can't give any ETA promises because i won't be able to keep them anyway. all i can say is that progress is quite fast.

Space Marines are just a tad taller by what I calculated

the perspective fools a bit, in truth they're a head taller than regular human models.

Yes exactly, lore-wise the astartes should be more than just a head taller, on average at least

well here's how i've scaled them: files.1337upload.net/primarchsβ¦
wanted them to be big, but not overkill.

imagine u're a human ig guy and half your squad got killed.
then for some reason a lone space marine sort of babysit u thur the battlefield. Β
hmm i think its not a stretch for salamanders.

I suppose it boils down to how the guardsmen takes it. Maybe they would feel blessed that the glorious legendary Astartes have deemed to help a regular soldier in need. Perhaps they'd bet that if their regiment was as well provisioned and armored as those big privileged mutants than this defeat never would have happened. Or they would think damn i'm still on a bloody battlefield on some faraway Emperor-forsaken rock.

completely new Space Marines based on Regicide assets, and they will overwrite the current ones in the next update. so far i've completed the basic assets for the beakie Mk6 as you can see, as well as the Mk7. been at this for two days now.
the new versions will be far more detailed as well as more formidable-looking - the old ones will be like low-resolution toys compared to these. they have higher polycounts and texture resolutions. they will also have way, way better organized textures so that making skins is easier and faster. i will have to reorganize the bodygroup selections due to the increased detail, so some old ones will be left out while some new ones will be added.
this only includes the Marines and Terminators, both pre and post Heresy. vehicles and dreadnoughts will remain unaffected, as redoing them in higher detail simply wouldn't be viable (and it would take a shitload of time too). same for the weapons and additional equipment.
i might release the Chaos Marines i've completed so far, but even they will be eventually replaced by higher definition versions that i will create by corrupting and defacing the new Marines.

Someone made a Space Marine power armor mod for Fallout 4. It looks pretty good.

i've seen it, it looks neat. i wish someone made a version that fits the game's art style better though. some of the Heresy era armor would fit Fallout so well.
