Maybe I'll put it there eventually. But not yet. It needs to make an appearance in something else first.

Forgot to add this as a favorite. How that other view coming?
Since I am a bit long in the tooth to begin learning 3D art I was wondering if someone could offer a pictorial of the request stages of constructing a 3D vehicle. The professional caliber of your art demonstrate you would be a likely candidate to ask. Nothing elaborate; just the basics...........

No rush (I've still got a lot of Imperator to do and thank you. BTW the 3D superstructure set you did was awesome I've decided to make both an Imperator and Warmonger interchangeable module for my Emperor. Keep up the excellent work.

Two things about the Ork titans, as they are generally represented, that bother me are the huge riveted on jagged teeth and body spikes and the outsized caliber of the main weaponry. How can such outlandish things be rationalized in a space-faring race. Much of what else you have rendered here is extremely plausible and again you have made an inspiringly realistic representation of what heretofore gave too much of a a toy-like aspect to the genre.
Keep up the excellent work. Your creations have provided me reference to attempt replication for years to come.

There is actually an explanation. Orks are bound together by something called WAAAAGH!!! energy. Essentially, if enough Orks believe something will work, then it will work. For example; because they believe that their vehicles go faster if painted red, then red vehicles go faster. They will also move with no fuel if they believe there is fuel in it. The Imperium did experiments were they couldn't fire Ork guns but then handed them to Orks and suddenly the guns worked perfectly. Then the guns stopped working again once they took them back from the Orks. It does come with the massive weakness however that if there aren't enough Orks near their technology, then it will stop working.
Does that answer your question?

One good in-universe theory that has surfaced is that Ork technology looks crude and salvaged, but is actually so incredibly advanced it rivals the Eldar and Necrons.
I should actually do another scene with this model, I've added more surface detail to it since this shot was made - pipes, tubes, and of course lots of very loose and mismatched looking armor plating that breaks up the otherwise straight outlines.

Isn't it a bit small compared to an Emperor Titan?

The mega gargants in artwork have never really matched the Imperator in height, I think - what it loses in verticality it gains in bulk and sturdiness, and of course firepower.

Sure, but for me it always looked like a mega gargant was at least about 3/4 if not 2/3 the hight of an emperor titan, still. But I might have a warped understanding of the hight of an emperor titan to begin with.

Same would apply to the miniatures, the Emperor Titan towered over the Mega Gargant model. But all gargants of any design are great metal knots, what they lacked in height they more then make up for in bulk. I use to play Epic, back in the day.

Yep, that's exactly what I used for the scale reference.
