  Toby and Henrietta were enjoying their new lives on Thomas' Branch Line, but that wasn't to say there weren't... problems that came with their new home.

  "Where is that bus?" Toby grumbled. "I'd have half a mind to go and mosey on down to the Junction if he's gonna be this late."

  Henrietta was about to agree when her concentration was broken by the sound of a hooting red noisemaker. Bertie raced into the station, his characteristic grin as sharp as ever.

  "Sorry about that, Old Man!" Tooted Bertie. "Got stuck behind a Horse and Cart on my way! You know how it is! Vroom vroom."

  Toby was inclined to agree, though Bertie wouldn't let him inch a word in. "Anyway, I'd love to stay and chat, but I've got to make up time on my route! Must keep up appearances, you know! Vroom vroom."

  And just as quickly as he had arrived, Bertie shot off and out of sight.

If Toby wasn't cross before, he certainly was now. "I haven't a clue how Thomas puts up with that... that speedster!"

  "He's a Bus, dear," Henrietta soothed, "What did you expect?"

I am convinced that Toby & Henrietta would absolutely despise Bertie with every ounce of their being. I cannot explain why I think this would be the case. I just know it.

Anyways, thank you all for the Birthday Wishes. I very rarely have anything whipped up over here but I've been very busy IRL.
