Commission for DelightPrints - another "artist's choice" image!Β I had originally intended this to be more a bird of pure shadow rather than a dark phoenix but I was struggling with the dark values a lot, wanting something bright for the shadowy aspects to contrast against, so it ended up turning into this instead :VΒ I still might have preferred my original concept, but dark phoenices are cool, too :3

Love this! Light where there is no light. Darkness attempting to envelope the light. A fight of who owns the time and space. A sence of cold Β with a touch of warmth surrounding and breaching the cold. A ferocious, furry comes through. Beautiful work, please keep them coming.

Oh boy does this picture give off a sense of beauty, but at the same time dread. Nice job making the bird look and feel as if it is unleashing it's fury upon the viewer.

oh Mine this what I image Roy Mustang (Fullmetal Alchemist) would have look like as a Phoenix has the Phoenix as his black hair and eyes colour and the flames the colour of his uniform. expect I picture for Roy's tail to be more like a Peacock's tail

oh forgot to type that a black phoenix is what I also picture for Harry Potter (his flame would be emerald green) and Severus Snape (his flame are of cause are black) as their's magical Animagus forms

Yeah, I'm afraid it might be rather darker than intended on some monitors - I think my monitor is really "dark sensitive" so a bunch of the details tend to get lost on others, which is annoying :bΒ Anyway!Β Thank you kindly
