Bestiary artwork for Endless Realms , a D&D-like "pen and paper" fantasy RPG I'm working for.As soon as I came up with the concept for this monster, I knew it was going to be a pain to illustrate! Hungers are undead abominations formed from the repurposed bodies of those it's consumed, driven by an endless hunger for the flesh and souls of others, or perhaps by the eternal suffering of those victims trapped within.
Was inspired originally by the concept of a pillar of flesh from Eternal Darkness, but I definitely get Resident Evil/Dark Souls vibes from it as well :b

Haha, I'm not sure - sort of up to the project leader and writer to come up with the details of how creatures work! But perhaps it starts off as a kind of "mutated" single corpse, like, its anatomy entirely warped, and it just goes from there.
