Description
Bestiary artwork for Endless Realms , a D&D-like "pen and paper" fantasy RPG I'm working for.An appropriately murderous submission for Halloween this weekend! Redcaps are malevolent beings resembling short old men who haunt the ruins of abandoned castles and fortresses. Their faces are nearly always dripping with blood, for their nominal red caps must remain wet with fresh blood lest they wither away and die - despite their extraordinarily heavy iron boots and favoured polearms, it is said that outrunning a redcap is impossible.

Epic work. Did you know that in the old stories their caps were made from human skin?

Well done! I knew he was a Redcap before reading the title, as I instantly recognized the headdress.

Hah, really? But it could have just been a coincidence :b Lots of things could potentially be drawn with red caps! But I guess seeing that it was also creepy killer gnome-thing as well as something wearing a red cap helped :b

Indeed, seeing the bleeding cap on something that looked like it's battle cry would be 'LUNCH!' or something similar...was kinda a clue.
