Bestiary artwork for Endless Realms , a D&D-like "pen and paper" fantasy RPG I'm working for.Eschewing armour and other forms of protection, barbarians throw themselves headlong into battle without fear. They regard pain as a thing for lesser creatures, and wear their many scars proudly. This mentality holds a special appeal to the rugged Ulvar Kyr , whose people see strength and tenacity in battle as among the greatest virtues a warrior can possess.

Definitely someone to have on your side in a battle! Beautifully done, he looks like he's already ripped someone's face off and is getting ready to remove the entire head, next. I can practically hear his battle roar!

*chuckles* Yeah, it was hard to capture the sort of gritty hardcore ferocity of this guy without actually adding in a bunch of graphic blood/gore. Instead, I tried to have the spatter in the background "suggest" blood without looking like it, and tinted the axe's edges slightly red :b Glad it worked, though! It's always fun doing something over-the-top ragey, hehe.
