I’ve always neglected, if not outright avoided, Hunter, which has been a mistake on my part. I think something about him essentially being an older and much nastier version of Luke put me off, since I frankly tend to think of Luke-related subjects through rose lenses, but I think now that I’ve finally made an official reference for Hunter, that may be behind me at last! I wanted to ensure that he bore obvious resemblance to Luke (as he’s supposed to), and while I had intended for him to look a little older, Aldyrans do tend to age slower, so it’s not a big deal, really. I’m also happy with how his clothing turned out, bearing not only obvious similarities to the coat he gives Luke in Lusafyyr, but also vaguely samurai-like qualities, which I had been hoping to convey.
