Description
Captain of his own ship, the Isis, and a master of his own destiny. Reno is a free spirit, he goes where he wants as does as he pleases. Taking jobs here and there, he has built a solid reputation for getting the job done. Due to acquiring his own ship, and the prominent position of captain at such a young age, he is quite arrogant, and rightfully so. His own pilot and mechanic, he has no partners or steady crew. He prefers to be a lone wolf. He accepts the generous government commission to transport Chiko and co safely, but finds he has a very hard time following orders.___________________________________
This is Reno, he is my character, and he is about 27 years old.
So in between work, I've been working on my comic on and off. Yeah I still can't decided on a fucking title, I know I suck. But I don't intend to finish writing it anytime soon, I have to get alot better in alot of areas.
Been working on this picture off and on for about 4 days. This wouldn't be half as good without the great advice from and the lovely folks over at [link] conceptart!

I really like the method you used for the lighting on the character. You didn't go super complex with it, and I think that definitely works. It's got a very certain charm to it. :]

looking good, need some work on the background. his arm look kinda short, watch on your perspective.
here a little tip: I know you have a bit of habit of making the linework a bit sketchy and using black ink. Try cleaning your linework, and which area need to have dark lines and light lines for the coloring. It help and give you idea where the light source coming from, not only that it make your work stand out more.

Only thing I would say is his right arm looks shorter than what it's suppose to be. But everything else is just wonderful! The details for the lineart and the coloring. Awesome work for the background and color scheme.
