All you fans out there. You can have your Clouds, your Sephiroth's, and even your Solid Snake's. Just give me some Raidou, cause he's one of the sexiest game characters to me mmmm..mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.I was feel pretty crappy and napped most of the day, so I decided to draw some fanart of my favorite Shin Megami Tensei character, Raidou. I colored it on my livestream channel: [link] Which I will try to make a more regular habit if anyone wants to tune in and see my process.
Oh man...Devil Summoner 2 is upstairs aching to be played, but I haven't the time. sad
Also, I had no idea DA only allowed premium member to comment on critiques. that is so piss off. If you'd like to give me a crit just post it in the comments and I promise I will read them!

I'm not really an expert at critiques, but first off I'd like to say this is AWESOME. Love dynamic pose-type stuff, and you really get a mood for the danger going on around Raidou.
I can see a few things that could be fixed, such as the way his fingers and thumb wrap around his sword looks a bit off. I'd also add at least a glimpse of the sword's blade so you know it's there.
His cape is very very big in this, though it could very well just be artistic license, which in that case is totally cool!
It's also hard to see his trademark sideburns, so you may want to lift them higher up on his face.
It's a few small things, but otherwise I really, really like this. I hope I could be of some help... even though I've never really written many critiques before, not to mention I see errors in my work all the time and never do anything about them.

I have not yet played any of the Devil Summoner games (my Atlus experience so far limited to Persona 3 & 4 and Digital Devil Saga 1 ;_; ) BUT I do love his character design, and I love this piece! Very interesting perspective, and I really like the color palette!
