This black squirrel is a very rare visitor. We usually see it in town with the Eastern grey squirrels, not alone in countryside. And far more west than here. It is a big squirrel, much more than our brown one.__________________________________________

You know, this squirrel is very big. He usually lives in big towns. I guess he was loss.
Right now, I feed birds, squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons (two families are coming all the time) and sometimes a groundhog (at least he doesn't eat my flowers!). I am in countryside for 3 more weeks.
The "squirrels having nuts in their mouth" are chipmunks. Smaller and different from squirrels, different habits, cheeks and behaviour. Maybe for your birthday?
So, your birthday is December 15th, I will note it.
