Holy crap! I drew something! And a comic of all things too!

My lady love and I have been playing the new Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver games lately. It's been a blast too because it marks the first time in all my years as a Pokémon fan that I've EVER been able to trade (and that is, for the record, since day one). It feels like we're constantly trading just to trade.

But we've also been giggling at the animation that occurs when you make a trade in the game. You see, it shows you put the Pokémon in the Pokéball and then just launches it. I have a hard time not exclaiming "Pokémon... in... SPACE!" every time I see it. And one time in particular, I had the scene depicted in this comic pop into my head. Made me laugh, so I drew it. Hope it made you laugh too. ^_^

The kids are Aidyn and Madison [link] my , those kids that I use anytime I feel it's applicable. I suppose I could have used trainer characters from within the games like my other Pokémon comics, but I wanted this to be recognized as people "playing the game" rather than people "within the game".

And the Pokémon I mentioned, as with the Pokémon I use for any comic, are completely random. No rhyme or reason to it. Don't look for a deeper meaning. (Although I guess they must be rare; I'm on my way to the Elite Four now and haven't been able to catch a Growlithe and haven't even SEEN a Teddiursa...)

Artistically, I'll be the first to say this is a nightmare. This is mostly because I rushed since I wanted to have this done before I jumped into Script Frenzy tomorrow. I mean, there are aspects of this piece that came out rather well, I think (the satellite, the explosion, etc.) but most of it IS rather sloppy. I do hope it's not to much of a bother to you though.
