While artwork for the OCSC 2 might be done, that hardly means that I have nothing to draw. Expect to see more new pieces like this in the next couple days as I finish off all of those Kiriban pieces I didn't get around to before.

This one is for who was one of many people who Noted me at practically the same time about winning the Kiriban. He was off by 49 to be sure, but I'm the generous sort, so I don't mind. Of the five people who won the Kiriban, he was the third to place his request making him the next to be given it, as you can see. He requested Fujiwara no Mokou (left) and Keine Kamishirasawa (right) from one of the Touhou games holding hands.

Now, seeing as I've never actually played a Touhou game, let alone the particular installment that featured these two (one of my claims to shame; I've known about them for years, but really just never got around to it), I fear it's very likely I may have aspects of their personalities wrong. And so, if you're a Touhou fanatic, I only ask you be merciful if that's the case.

I admit, the designs themselves may also be off. I used roughly about twenty different pictures of the characters in total as references to draw this piece, but have found that even among the various artworks I've found, there are a lot of inconsistencies. Mokou seemed to never have quite the same hairstyle twice for instance, and the I've seen at least three different hats for Keine. And again, not being familiar with the characters meant I wasn't totally sure which to go with, and typically just went with what I felt like I most frequently saw.

It probably sounds like I'm complaining, but actually, I really enjoyed doing this. Even if I've never played the Touhou games, I've always gotten a huge kick out of the character designs, making it a welcome challenge to attempt to emulate style. If anything, this will likely be the last straw that finally makes me try out Touhou too.

So, thank you, Exia! It was my pleasure to draw this, and I hope you like it too! Also, thanks for your patience, being made to wait through the entire OCSC 2. ^_^

And speaking of which, before anyone asks: no, you may not vote for them in the OCSC. Besides the fact that this is a totally unrelated thing, there is also the fact that they're not my OCs nor can I claim ANY ownership of the characters.
