im FINALLY getting the pics from my alaska vacation up(3rd alaska 1st cruse) so yea (rough dates are in titles) --oh yea there are pics me my mom an my uncle took i ferget exactally who took what unless cam indicated most im unshure--if i know blurp below-- plus we shared cams plenty thru the trip so thats a more likely took the pic thingok translations in title m=my moms cam (-cam tacked to most/all) r=my uncles cam j=my cam fer the MOST part we used our own cams but there were times we used eachouthers cams too

There isn't really anything...special about this image.
When doing landscapes, I think that lighting is the most important thing. This looks like it was taken at some point in the afternoon when the sun is rather harsh and looks really flat on a photograph.
I would suggest shooting landscapes either early in the morning, or around sunset, it will add a lot of dimension to your pictures.
And framing as well. I don't really know what the focal point of this image is supposed to be. The trees look like they are probably really beautiful, but with everything else going on its rather distracting to keep my eye from wandering around the piece. Play around with aperture settings on your camera [if your camera allows] and when taking a picture ask yourself what kind of purpose it is serving. What do you want the viewer to think when they see it, and where should their eye go immediately.

theres NO CHANGABLE f-stop an the shutter is auto-based on setting i use as fer pics i usially do just whatever i feel like there with it an seems much of my outher work is really nuthin specific to be thought/felt/whatever

i do want imput just when its more the cam fer some things (i had herd of 3rds rule thought id try) then i really cant help it
