Star vs the forces of Evil FanartI told myself not to draw today to make room for my thesis. BUT THE LATEST EPISODE WAS TOO GOOD NOT TO DRAW. I couldn’t resist drawing the last scene from “Monster Bash” and I kinda regret it xD

Didn't see that coming. I have so many questions. I assume the reason why Meteora is still alive is because her father is/was most likely immortal, but how is Mina Loveberry still alive? Isn't she a regular Mewman either? Who erased Meteora's memory and why? If she truly is the most dangerous monster in Mewni's history, why wasn't she killed instead? How will Eclipsa react when Star inevitably asks her questions about her family she knows her mother won't answer? Does Eclipsa even know what became of her daughter? SO many questions.
Heh... I remember when this show was so silly and simple. I'm glad I never took part in ship wars, because this show is much more than just shipping at this point.

I love it when a show can take a character we thought we already knew and push them into another direction. Before this Miss Heinous was basically the secondary antagonist, taking backseat to Toffee, Eclipsa and even Ludo, only coming around for a few episodes to cause trouble. Now she is right in the center of things and whose actions will likely determine where the show goes from here. Maybe she will be the next big villain, maybe not. At the moment it's all guessing and this is the most excited I've been for this show since Battle for Mewni.

I have a feeling that's the real if not main reason why Eclipsa was crystalized. Meteora's birth was considered a disgrace to the royal butterfly family and If she had another child before eloping, her ex-husband and probably another relative probably made sure he/she took over the throne, but not before crystalizing eclipsa, doing away with her monster spouse and putting Miss Heinous somewhere else...to be long forgotten.

Logically, Eclipsa HAD to have had another daughter before Meteora since they officially stated she's star/moon's 9th great grandmother? Plus her tapestry says she was married to a mewman king before running off with her monster lover.

Because she forgot her true identity and many probably forgot about her over time. So they only saw her as her Mrs Heinous persona

There are lots of things we don't know about Meteora. If she really was the most dangerous monster in Mewni's history, why was her memory erased? Why didn't they just crystalize or execute her? Or did her amnesia come from somewhere else? Also, how are she and Mina still alive? It's possible Meteora's father is/was immortal, so that might explain her, but what is Mina exactly?

I'm pretty sure Meteora keeps herself alive by absorbing magic (?) like what she was going to do with Marco in Monster Bash. Maybe it's magic that keeps her and Mina alive, we DID see Mina take on a very powerful form that neither Star, Marco, nor Tom could defeat.

Im not saying they have a relationship with each other
I just think that it's magic that keeps them alive
so it could give Meteora a reason to harvest magic from other people (or at least, I think that's what she does)
also, it's just my theory, but I think Mina looks far too young for a retired warrior
so maybe I'm speculating too much, but there might be a correlation between magic and keeping yourself alive and young

Niiice! Monster Bash really took me by surprise. I thought Marco using Star's wand was surprising, but then we learn the truth about Heinous- or rather, Meteora, and that just blew my freakin mind!
