Description
I wasn't happy with my first attempt. This one is a 2 picture panorama of the Canwest Global skyscraper in Winnipeg.
I like it a bit more but I have a long way to go to adjust from landscapes and mountains.

Looks very interesting with the glass between the brown coloured parts of the building. I also like the way you've captured the reflections in the glass.

I think you need to go into a building opposite of this and go up to about the half way point and then take your shots. The perspective should straighten out. But the curve of this building is interesting and probably with some funky edit could be made into a surreal image.

Thanks man. I thought about straightening it in Photoshop but I always like the effect
Yeah I played with some edits. Its really tough to choose after you make about 20 different ones

It doesn't have the typical look from a shot from the street perspective. It looks like it has a belly bulge and is about to explode
I'd play on that premise with the edit.

Oh, must be because of the wider angle and the fact that its 2 shots.

Trippy4U In reply to Joe-Lynn-Design [2012-07-10 13:31:30 +0000 UTC]
I figured it was from the 2 shot pano. And now I see it has a bit of distortion from the wide angle. Its still cool to play with.

Yeah panos are a lot trickier when you shoot with a wide angle. Most times I try not to go so wide.
I've gotten way out of practice since I haven't taken a pano in a year Have to make my mistakes all over again

You'll master it...you always do. This one is seamless and if you didn't say it was a pano...I wouldn't have know. I would have just figured the dam Canucks can't build anything right

Joe-Lynn-Design In reply to Trippy4U [2012-07-10 14:30:31 +0000 UTC]
Yeah I tried to fix the distortion and its not too bad but I lose too much of the sides so I'll just leave it and get another sometime

Haha! If I was to have a high rise built. Canadian woild definitely be my last choice
Look at Dubai Those people know what they're doing.
No I'm afraid I have lost my confidence in Canadian made over the last couple of years.
