Evelyn Renee Greene is a Southern Belle. Before she got Origined, she was a bookish wallflower, majoring in Computer Science. Her encounter with the Omnisphere, a trans-dimensional artifact that appears from time to time in every conceivable alternate universe, healed her old tennis injury and made her virtually indestructible and immortal. Jeff Valentine also suggested the name for her, and I asked "plants or immortality?" and it all fell into place from there. The idea for the Belles came to me awhile back, but I hadn't come up with the characters, then. Tornado Allie was the first to come together.
